Our volunteers prepare a nutritious meal on the fourth Friday of the month, while other Episcopal churches in our diocese cover the other Fridays.
Ministry lies at the heart of St. Peter's. Our ministries embody our values and foster community, friendship, purpose, love, kindness, understanding, spirit, and provide us with a sense of belonging and space.

Our vestry
The Vestry of St. Peter's is the governing board of our church. The rector and elected lay leaders join in a shared commitment to fostering a welcoming and nurturing environment for everyone.
MISSION AND VISION
Invite, support, encounter
We invite people into relationship, to share their giftedness from God, and to share their gifts for service and leadership. We welcome and act in love with all people wherever they are in their journey of faith. We embrace the diversity of each person, knowing that we each are uniquely created as a child of God. We recognize the complexities, divisiveness and loneliness of our current society and seek that all people would know and experience God’s love.

Highlights of our community in action
At St. Peter's Episcopal Church, we believe in the power of community. Our traditional outside ministry events bring together members and friends, creating lasting memories and deepening our bonds. Explore our current ministries to see the joy and connection that define our church family.
Feed the Vet's
St Peter’s has been involved in helping Veteran’s since 2016, when our congregation became involved with feeding the Veteran’s at the US Vet’s facility on Grand Avenue, in Phoenix. Our volunteers prepare a nutritious meal to serve these men and women on the fourth Friday of the month.

Bridges Reentry
A partnership program committed to bringing awareness to the community of the need to lift barriers wherever and whenever possible to engender a reentry for women released from prison that fosters healing and support so each woman can realize her full potential. Learn more
Native American Connection
St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Litchfield Park actively pursues connections with Native American communities through specific ministries, guided by the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona. This work is part of a broader effort by the Episcopal Church to acknowledge and repent for its past harms against Indigenous peoples, particularly its involvement with Native American boarding schools.
